L’abito UniVenice rappresenta un omaggio che la stilista di origini siciliane Floriana Alletto vuole rendere alla sua città d’adozione, Venezia.
UniVenice è un abito celebrativo, iconico ed esoterico.
Si celebra il mistero della vita, una magia, come lo è Venezia in questo universo sfuggente ed enigmatico, celato dal velo di una notte nera ed infinita, illuminata solamente dagli astri celesti: la luna e le dodici costellazioni di stelle declinate dallo zodiaco.
UniVenice è l’icona di una città che attraverso alcuni dei suoi simboli più noti, la maschera ed i pettini argentati della gondola, trasuda di aneddotica e leggenda.
I quattro elementi, acqua, aria, terra e fuoco si collocano ai margini della gonna, in posizione decentrata ma percepibile, metafora di un esoterismo invisibile e contemporaneamente tangibile in ogni angolo della città. Appena sotto la nuca compare il simbolo del quinto elemento, lo spirito, l’essenza della vita, filo d’Arianna per chi non vuole cadere nell’oblio, prigioniero delle tenebre.
I drappeggi e l’uso di un raffinato tessuto damascato conferiscono a UniVenice un dinamismo che si fonde con l’eleganza insita in ogni capo firmato Sun & Moon JD.
L’abito presenta una livrea nero-argentata poiché il nero rappresenta quel tocco di buio che dà luce alle forme mentre l’argento del tessuto damascato conferisce lucentezza e raffinatezza all’insieme nel rispetto del classico colore con cui il pettine va ad impreziosire l’iconica imbarcazione veneziana. Una testa di leone con corona apre la via ad un profondo spacco che diparte da un drappeggio e dà spazio alle sensuali curve della mezza luna.
La corona ed il drappeggio rappresentano un omaggio alla Venezia femminile, regina incontrastata di un regno che l’ha vista storicamente protagonista per secoli sotto la signorile denominazione di Serenissima.
Oltre alla piccola testa del leone incoronato, ad accompagnare l’abito vi è volutamente un solo accessorio: una borsetta a forma di genesa realizzata per Sun & Moon JD da AYN Visione Olistica di Ilaria Barlese: la livrea, il richiamo al leone e la forma sferica, la cui imperfetta geometria genera un ossimoro che magnifica quest’originalissima bag, si sposano perfettamente con la simbologia dell’abito, espressione della genialità artistica italiana.

UniVenice is the icon of a city which, through some of its best-known symbols, the gondola's mask and silver combs, oozes with anecdotes and legends.The four elements, water, air, earth and fire are placed on the edge of the skirt, in an off-centre but perceptible position, a metaphor for an invisible and at the same time tangible esotericism in every corner of the city. Just below the neck appears the symbol of the fifth element, the spirit, the essence of life, Ariadne's thread for those who do not want to fall into oblivion, a prisoner of darkness.The drapes and the use of a refined damask fabric give UniVenice a dynamism that blends with the elegance inherent in every Sun & Moon JD garment.The dress has a black-silver livery since the black represents that touch of darkness that gives light to the shapes while the silver of the damask fabric gives brightness and refinement to the whole in respect of the classic color with which the comb embellishes the iconic Venetian boat.
